    manorhaus Ruthin offers eight individually designed rooms with contemporary en-suite facilities and thoughtfully designed interiors.


    Each room has been designed in collaboration with professional artists, who exhibit their work in each 'gallery' or 'oriel' room, and working within the character of the Georgian spaces, we have chosen furniture, fabrics and colours to create interiors that combine comfort and elegant design.

    manorhaus Ruthin & Llangollen (including the self-contained cottage in Llangollen) has achieved the Visit Wales/Visit Britain Covid accreditation ‘Good to Go/Barod Amdani’ which certifies we have new processes in place to meet government guidelines to be Covid-aware.

    manorhaus Restaurant Ruthin offers a smart yet informal dining experience for those who enjoy freshly prepared contemporary cuisine that take full advantage of locally sourced ingredients and produce. Through our regularly changing a la carte menu and the stylish environment of the dining room, a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience is offered.


    COVID-19 - subject to regulations we hope to offer a room service / private dining menu for residents until such time that the restaurant is allowed to open more normally.

    As well as Boutique rooms, Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge, manorhaus Ruthin provides a collection of additional guest facilities unusual for such a small propertiy. A Private Cinema in our basement and a guest Library, with magazines, books and dvd's.

A wide range of spirits and single malts, Chilled bottled lagers and bitters including regional micro brewery ranges from Hafod Brewery & Wrexham Lager, and a fine range of European and new world wines.



    Advance table reservations are required to be made at least 48 hours before as we do not hold tables back for residents or take 'walk-in' reservations.

    Rates are normally advertised ROOM ONLY unless breakfast is specifically included.

    Manorhaus Ruthin Restaurant offers reservations for tables of up to 6 persons (larger please enquire via email) on Friday & Saturday evenings. Reservations are taken at 30 minute intervals from 7.00pm and are based on arrival time at the start of the allotted time lot. Late arrivals will be released for re-sale. Guests have their table for the evening (we do not turn tables).

  • PICTUREHAUS PRIVATE CINEMA • Returns September 2021

    The private cinema is in the original mediaeval barrel vaulted basement.

    Guests can book for private use to watch movies with full dolby atmosphere surround sound ON A ROOM WIDE 4k HDR projected SCREEN,

    or to attend one of our weekly picturehaus film club dinner evenings.


    THE library is located on the first floor and hosts a varied collection of books, periodicals and novels for guests to read in the library or borrow for their room, as well as traditional board games and games of skill. Our extensive music CD and DVD film collection is housed in the glass cabinets so that you can view and select items you wish to view privately in your room.


    Just 35 minutes from Chester, and 1 hour from Manchester by car, Ruthin is ideally placed to explore North Wales.

Tickets are for one use only and subject to availability.

Tickets are issued by email to the address specified at time of purchase and can be sent to either the purchaser or to the gift recipient, subject to the purchaser's preference.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to correctly address vouchers. manorhaus is not liable or responsible for any loss suffered as a result of a voucher via email being blocked by filters or firewalls, or where the incorrect email address has been entered by the purchaser. 

Refunds and Cancellations
Tickets for Events, Picturehaus, Supper:Club etc are for a specific date.  If you have to cancel, cancellation more than 48 hours in advance will allow either transfer to another date or refund as a gift voucher that can be used towards future events. Cancellation less than 48 hours is non-refundable.  Any cancellations by manorhaus of an Event will provide a full refund.
Refunds will only be made back to the card used to pay with via our Stripe secure payment processing.

COVID Guarantee
Cancellations due to the impact of Covid and associated regulation changes will offer either a full refund, transfer or gift voucher depending on customer preference.

Risk of loss
manorhaus is not responsible for tickets lost, stolen, destroyed or used without purchaser's permission.
